Patient confidentiality

Everyone working in the NHS has a legal duty to maintain the highest level of confidentiality about patient information.  Your medical history is recorded on our computer system and in paper records, which are accessed by authorised user only. Other branches of the NHS may have access to your personal information from time to time for example, if you are receiving hospital treatment. If we are asked for a medical report, eg for insurance purposes, we will only produce this with your written consent. You have the right, subjct to any limitation in law, to see your medical records.  Please ask at reception.
