Do you have a new/acute issue? You can now be referred to a pharmacist by a member of our reception team. You must be aged 1 years or over to access this service. Examples of the kinds of issues we can refer you for are as follows;
- aches and pains
- sore throat
- coughs
- colds
- flu
- earache
- cystitis & urine infection (16-64 female only)
- skin rashes
- teething
- conjunctivitis
- acne
- emergency contraception
- warts or skin tags
- sleep problems
We send a referral to your chosen pharmacy so that they can give you the time that is required to help resolve this issue with you. You must attend within 12 hours of being referred. The pharmacist will call you to follow up with you if you do not attend. If you are unable to be treated by them, they will refer you ack to the surgery, or to out of hours services such as a walk in Centre or 111.
