Running late?

Some of the recent feedback that we have had from our patients is related to the time they wait to see the GP, Nurse, or other member of the Clinical Team once they have Checked In at the Surgery.

Unfortunately, one of the main reasons for this is that some patients attend their appointments late, which invariably has the knock-on effect of causing the clinician to run late for the remainder of the clinic, and subsequently increase the length of time patients have to wait for their appointment.

Whilst we appreciate that events can conspire to cause late attendance for an appointment, it is not fair, appropriate, or practical, for us to accommodate patients at the expense of inconveniencing those who have attended in a timely manner.

If you are running late, please contact the Surgery as soon as possible, so that we can try to assist you.

Should you attend an appointment more than 10 minutes late, you will not be seen, and we will ask you to re-book for another day so as not to cause further delay to those patients waiting for their appointment.

We thank you for your co-operation and continuing support.
